About paulajwray

I am a writer and I live in the Rocky Mountains of southwest Colorado with my husband and a balding black cat. I write humor, flash fiction, creative non-fiction, inspirational essays, and poetry. When I'm not writing, making lists, or forcing a family member to listen to something I've written, I'm reading, gardening, or laughing with my friends. I also, occasionally, sit and stare.

You’d think by the 21st century, grammar would have improved 😉

  4. I love the textese in this one!! And it’s totally plausible, too.

Fun spin on the prompt! I’ve always wondered how many people use the “my battery’s about to die” excuse to stall for time when they’re on the hook. C u l8r! 😉

This is hilarious, but a little sad because there is truth to it. I still can’t embrace the abbreviated texting language 🙂

Ah,,what a sad state of affair(s)-techno romance is the demand of the time-they have phone-everything-soon they will find a way to have phone-marriage & phone baby too!A wonderfully real but funny take on the prompt-loved it Paula:-)

I, personally, love texting. However, I think even if texting is the present day love letter, one eventually needs to spend some time talking face to face.
